Calculators
VAT
Add or remove VAT at the correct rate for any GCC state.
Qatar and Kuwait have not implemented VAT. Rates shown are standard rates; zero-rated and exempt supplies are treated differently.
Corporate Tax
Headline corporate tax, including the UAE small-business threshold.
Headline rates only. A 15% domestic minimum top-up tax applies to multinational groups with global revenue of EUR 750m or more (UAE and others, from 2025). Oman applies a reduced 3% rate to qualifying Omani SMEs; Qatar generally taxes only foreign-owned share of profits. Free-zone regimes, oil, gas and banking are treated separately.
Zakat
Zakat due on net zakatable assets, checked against nisab.
A simplified personal calculation on the Hawl (lunar year) basis. Business Zakat in Saudi Arabia follows separate ZATCA rules.
End-of-Service
Indicative end-of-service gratuity under each state's labour law.
Indicative only. Entitlement depends on contract type, reason for leaving and unpaid leave. Check the current labour law and your contract.
Loan / EMI
Monthly instalment, total interest and total repayable.
Assumes a fixed rate and equal monthly instalments. Bank fees, insurance and early-settlement charges are not included.
Mortgage
Deposit, financed amount and instalment against local LTV caps.
LTV caps are regulator guidance for a first residential property and vary by lender, income and property value.
Savings
Projected balance from a starting sum and monthly contributions.
Assumes contributions at the end of each month and a constant annual return compounded monthly. Returns are not guaranteed.
Salary
Take-home pay after social insurance, for nationals and expatriates.
GCC states levy no personal income tax today. Oman introduces a 5% tax on annual income above OMR 42,000 from 1 January 2028 — the first in the region. Social insurance generally applies to nationals only; expatriate deductions are usually nil.
Customs Duty
Duty and import VAT on the landed value of goods.
The 5% common external tariff has many exceptions. Import VAT is normally recoverable by registered businesses.
Currency
Convert between GCC currencies and the US dollar.
Most GCC currencies are pegged to the US dollar; the Kuwaiti dinar tracks a basket and moves slightly. Rates are indicative, not live.
